The Northeast Wisconsin Horror Film Festival uses filmfreeway.com to take film submissions.  More than 600,000 filmmakers, writers and artists use FilmFreeway to submit to over 7,000 of the world’s best film festivals and contests (including 50+ Oscar and BAFTA qualifying festivals).  Best of all, setting up a FilmFreeway account is free for submitters.  Additionally, if your film originates from Wisconsin, then you can submit to our festival without any submission fees.

Was your project written by a Wisconsin resident?  Was it directed by someone from Wisconsin?  Was your crew or cast mostly from our state?  Was the post-production handled in the state?  Or does your film take place in Wisconsin?  If so, then it should qualify as a Wisconsin Based film.
